Nine days after Hurricane Ida, internet traffic to New Orleans still recovering
According to Kentik aggregate NetFlow data, internet traffic to New Orleans dropped by over 50% in the days following the arrival of the hurricane as repair crews worked to restore service to the region.
As of today (September 7th), volumes of internet traffic destined for New Orleans have still not completely recovered as utilities work to restore power to many parts of the region.
