Level up!
At Kentik, we’re a global company spread across 33 U.S. states and 16 countries. As an all-remote team, staying connected is a big deal, and that’s why our 2025 offsite event, Level Up, was something we were anxiously awaiting! It was a week where we gathered together in person to celebrate how far we’ve come — and this year, Margaritaville Resort in Orlando, Florida was the perfect sunny backdrop for all the fun!
Arrival and welcome reception
The week kicked off on Sunday with team members arriving from all over the globe. After grabbing our swag bags (because who doesn’t love a good t-shirt and some cool gear?), we gathered for a welcome reception with our co-founders Avi Freedman and Justin Biegel. They gave us a warm welcome, setting the tone for a week of connection and celebration.
Team updates and customer panel
Monday was all about learning, collaboration, and looking ahead. Our executive team took the stage to reflect on last year’s wins and give us a sneak peek into the exciting plans for the future. But the real highlight was hearing from our amazing customers. We got to hear firsthand how Kentik’s products make a difference in their businesses.
Team breakouts
The next few days were a perfect mix of teamwork and play. We dove into team breakouts, where we brainstormed, collaborated, and had some seriously productive (and fun!) discussions.

But let’s be honest — the best part was the excursions!
We explored Disney, cheered at an Orlando Magic game, got a glimpse of the future at NASA, paddled through the glowing waters during bioluminescent kayaking on the Space Coast, raced at Andretti Karting, and hiked through beautiful Lake Louisa State Park. These adventures were the perfect way to get out of our usual routine and create memories that will last far beyond the offsite.
Finale dinner and casino night
Thursday night, we wrapped up the week with a grand finale dinner on the Margaritaville Parrot Lawn. The sunset views were incredible, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was full of team spirit and excitement. After dinner, we kicked off our traditional casino night, where the stakes were big (but the laughs were bigger). Whether we won or lost, we all had a blast!
Final thoughts and send-off
We wrapped up the week with an All-Company Program Finale on Friday morning. It was a chance to reflect on the connections we’d made and the energy we’d built together. Avi and Justin sent us off with some final words of inspiration. Their heartfelt message reminded us why we do what we do — and left each of us heading home with a clear sense of direction and purpose.
The power of coming together
Level Up was a reminder of how special it is for us to come together in person. As an all-remote company, we know that there’s nothing like the camaraderie, laughter, and sense of unity we get when we’re all in one place. The time spent with our coworkers deepened relationships and reinforced our shared commitment to make Kentik even better, together.
